Broccoli Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 leeks, washed and sliced
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 1/2 cups water
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (optional)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried crumbled thyme
  • 1/2 tsp dried crumbled sage
  • 4 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 1/3 cup cold water

Directions

Saute the vegetables in 1/2 cup of the water for 15 minutes. Add the seasonings and the rest of the water. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes. Mix in the cornstarch mixture. Cook and stir until thickened.

Serve over potatoes or grains.
