Even after all these years I still rewatch - and recommend - your parents' 2 videos, McDougall Made Easy and McDougall Made Irresistible. When they were both released, the main complaint from the weight loss crowd was that a few of the recipes weren't compliant with the MWLP, like those salads/sandwich spreads and desserts.
How about you all get together and make one where you - or you and your mom together - make MWLP recipes? Or recipes to go with various starches for a Mary's Mini, like a bunch of potato or rice recipes? You already did a great job updating your mom's Meal Planning video and when you cooked for a Chef AJ video.
