  McDougall Adventures

Dear Healthy Adventurer,

Too many vacations are experienced through a bus window - scenery passing by, like viewing a giant screen TV. Most are a serious health hazard. Consider, the average weight gain on a typical 7-day cruise is 8 pounds and on a medium-size cruise ship, on average, 2 people succumb to the midnight buffet, spending the last days of their expensive trip in the ship's cooler. There has to be a better experience!

Now you can have better health through an adventure vacation! Return from a great destination refreshed, more energetic, stronger, better informed and in most cases thinner and healthier. Very few of our fellow travelers are strict practitioners of the McDougall Diet -- but they share a common goal of becoming healthier, so they can enjoy more useful years. The activities on McDougall Adventure trips vary from easy to challenging --but if you can walk a city block you will be able to enjoy almost every experience.

Unique Advantages of a McDougall Adventure:
  • You learn the miracles of food and exercise for regaining lost health and appearance.
  • You are motivated by the information given by the McDougalls, and the enthusiasm of everyone.
  • People share their stories of success and learning, helping you live a healthier, longer life.
  • Great tasting low-fat vegetarian dishes inspire your imagination for meals you can make at home.
  • You have the opportunity to ask John and Mary personal questions -- and often get personal help.
  • The McDougalls are on site and in charge of every detail, to make sure your trip goes well.
  • All activities are included in the price so you're freed from money-influenced decisions.
  • If you are outgoing, you will meet, share experiences with, and enjoy a great many people.
  • You make friends that you will meet again on another McDougall adventure.
  • You will not see rows and rows of souvenir shops, all selling the same old junk.
  • Your days are filled with activity -- and plenty of physical stuff if you choose.
  • You often have a choice of different things to do each day. Or you can just lay back and relax.

"We want to thank you and your lovely family for all your hard work in giving us the nicest, most organized trip we ever experienced. We truly now know the meaning of adventure. We especially liked the food and that was the main reason I wanted Wesley to go on this trip."
