Ingredients
2 Quarts
Vegetable stock
1/2 Cup
Chopped Spanish onion
1/2 Cup
Minced garlic
8 Tsp.
Grated ginger
2 Tsp.
Turmeric

Green cardamom pods, crushed

Cinnamon sticks

Whole cloves
1/4 Tsp.
Fresh ground nutmeg
Directions

Slowly heat the vegetable stock in a medium-sized saucepan over low heat.

Add the other ingredients and simmer uncovered on the lowest heat for about 20-30 minutes.

Strain the mixture through a double layer of cheesecloth.

Refrigerate until needed.
