Chubby Chips
By Jeff Novick
We like to make these thick and chewy and that is why we call them "Chubby Chips". If you like them crisper, you can just cut them thinner. If you have a mandolin slicer, you can cut them fairly thin and even. We also use a waffle knife (or slicer) to make wavy cuts and make "Chubby Ruffle Chips".

Ingredients
Directions
1 Turn on the broiler or set the oven to 400 if baking. Slice potatoes into rounds, about 1/4 inch thick.
2 Layer them on a non-stick baking pan (or line the pan with parchment paper).
3 Season with your favorite seasoning (garlic, chili powder, cinnamon, curry, etc).
4 Broil until golden, turn them over and repeat being careful they don’t burn. Or if baking, roast until golden, turning over once. About 10-15 minutes per side.
We love to add garlic and/or chipotle seasoning to regular potatoes and curry and/or cinnamon to sweet potatoes.
