Peggy Fought Ovarian Cancer by Changing to a Starch Based Diet

The McDougall Program has changed Denver's life in many ways - she no longer suffers from joint pains, body aches and inflammation. After just three or four days eating a whole food, starch-based diet, Denver feels as if her body was saying "it's about time". She feels better and wants to sustain that feeling.

Jim has been following the McDougall program for 12 years. In 2010 his cholesterol was 221 and he knew he needed to take action. After reading McDougall books, he and his wife experienced positive results and decided to attend an in person program in Santa Rosa. Over the years they have continued to attend McDougall events and recently Jim attended the 12-Day McDougall Program. 

Jose acknowledged the state of his health and was concerned about his quality of life in the years ahead when he enrolled in the 12-Day McDougall Program. After completing the program, he successfully eliminated insulin from his routine and has sustained a low A1C through a starch-based diet and has more energy.
