Linda Winterssays:
I forgot to ask if Mary's Mini Diet is better for Fatty Liver Disease, or the MWL Diet, or the Starch Solution Diet. Which one is better for Type 2 Diabetes and Fatty Liver Disease? Appreciate any and all help. Thank you. Linda
Hi Linda, For fatty liver and diabetes, the MWL will work best for you. The goal is to get rid of your excess weight. This will help both diseases. Please search on our website for more information. You've got this. Just take it one meal at a time and keep it simple.

which diet would be good for cirrhosis. but is in remission so to speak
A whole food, starch-centered diet is an excellent choice for someone with cirrhosis, even if it is currently stable or in remission. This way of eating is naturally low in saturated fat, rich in fiber and antioxidants, and supports overall liver health while helping improve many of the conditions that often contribute to liver disease. Of course, everyone's situation is different, so it's important to work with your healthcare provider, especially if there are any concerns about nutrition or medications. But in general, we believe this is one of the best dietary approaches for supporting long-term liver health.
