Dropped a little

Postby txjack » Thu Apr 30, 2009 5:51 am

I dropped some after a gain which is great.

I am down to 269.0 That's 5.8 for the week.

Total loss since starting 14.5 lbs.

I am kind of frustrated with the ticker, though. I had an original one and then somehow "forgot my pin". I recreated one and used a pin I absolutely would not forget and sure enough, it does not recognize the pin, again. Anyone else have trouble with this? I guess I have to recreate a new ticker to reflect the loss later.

I am happy to report I'm down 1 pound, which is big for me since I've been taking care of Mom at her house half the time for the past five weeks. The food situation is not easy there; I'm usually too exhausted to cook after a day at the hospital, running errands, paying her bills, dealing with her docs, and such; then I drive back across the state to resume my own life and work. Now she's home, so it's somewhat easier, and my 1-lb loss reflects that.

I should be able to stay home for a couple of weeks this time. This condition is not permanent, and she is improving! Hopefully, my weight losses will improve, too.

Congrats to all. I'm so impressed and encouraged by you all.

On plan and planning to stay that way!

I'm back at my original goal, which is 2lbs down from last week. It feels good, with all of the funeral craziness, I ended up eating a ton of fruit this week, as that was the mcd food available at all times. I may have sugar shock, but that sure beat the alternative which was all of the other goodies... I made sure I got in a quick workout every morning and that helped me to feel good, even with late nights and blown schedules.

I'm down .5 lb this week.

I broke down this last week and ate fake chicken patties. There was alot of talk about buffalo wings in my house and the desire was driving me nuts. I was happy that I didn't eat the real thing....it was bad enough to eat the garbage in the fake stuff. But, I am happy to report I'm feeling great and On Plan and Planning on Staying That Way.

Hope everyone has a healthy week.

I am down 2 pounds...could be a bit more, but I am not at home and this scale is down 2 pounds from Monday...woo hoo.

WE can do this!

I'm down 0.4 lbs for the week - not bad considering I really BLEW one day earlier this week with a high fat SAD day. I'm thrilled that I got right back on track, had an excellent and TASTY MWL day yesterday, and am even down a little.

So that's 4.4 lbs since I joined the thread, and 6.6 since April 1!

No loss for me this week. Actually, I'm up a pound. Boo. It's my fault. I wasn't totally prepared this week and ended up needing to buy my lunch at work once and eat a bit off plan during the evenings.
I'm disappointed in my lack of planning and also with my lack of will power. It seemed like when things started sliding, I let them go for a while before making corrections and getting back on track.
Ah, live and learn... I'm glad this is the last day of the month so I can leave this post behind on the April thread and start fresh again in the May thread.
I'm going to try to make May great! I'm rededicating now.

I'm glad to see a lot of weigh-in reports that are better than mine. Congrats on your successes!

I gained 2 pounds this week! Eeek! I'm not surprised after I tried to eat down the house earlier this week. I was trying to think back to where I went wrong. Then I remembered the family birthday dinner on Sunday. My aunt made a salad, and the salad had shredded cheese in it. I should have passed, but politeness made me have some (since she proudly set the giant bowl in front of me) . Could that little bit of cheese set off my eating binge? Maybe. And I also had a slice of birthday cake. It was just a small piece of cake, but it was cake all the same. Sunday was definitely not a good McDougall Day! As many people have said here before, it's easier to be 100 percent compliant than 95 percent.

Now I'm off on a little road trip. I'm taking my rice cooker and sweet and white potatoes. Hopefully things won't get too crazy and stressful. I'll check in when I get back.

Have a great week everyone!
