Snacks towards late evening.

I know I should not really be eating too much before bed - but I think I need a good fallback starch if I get hungry and get a risk of eating high processed carbs.

What do you eat at 9-10pm while everyone else is getting ready for bed?

Homemade hummus (no oil/tahini) on Ezekiel (low sodium) toast.

Hi, :)

If I get hungry at night, I eat a snack --- normally a small meal --- like a cup of starchy soup, potato and veggies, rice and veggies.

I keep at least one soup and usually potato and rice ready in the refrigerator --- so it is easy to pull out a snack -- whenever needed!!!

Cheers,
Stephanie

Depends

- piece of fruit: banana, mango, orange
- leftover potatoes, if available
- other leftovers, if available

I go for whatever seasonal fruit I've got, like grapes or an orange. Or I will heat up a cup of rice noodle soup. That is usually enough for me.
