Camping tips?

Postby lucidguppy » Sun Aug 28, 2022 7:35 am

Do you have any tips for staying on plan while camping? I've seen using Jeff's burgers and also roasting potatoes and corn in the camp fire.

I would think bringing fruit would be a good idea too.

Grains that would work could be couscous and quinoa. Though I think bringing precooked stuff and reheating it would be easier.

Chickpea pancakes might be a good idea tool.

I just want stuff that's easy to clean up and quick to cook.

You can also bring fat free hummus from Whole Foods (or wherever you get it or make it your own) and some compliant bread from Trade Joe's (Trader Joe's "daily bread" appears compliant).
Then cut up some onions, tomatoes, cucumbers and lettuce and you have an excellent sandwich for breakfast and lunch. May be dinner.

I always bring my vegan beer bratz that come from a fat free vegan site. They feed my old hot dog craving and are quite healthy. Just put them in Alvarado Street or Ezekiel buns.
