Gary Taubs rides again

Postby Langeranger » Sat Jan 15, 2011 11:15 am

I think it's the current issue of Reader's Digest. Gary Taubs is featured with what seems like latter-day Atkins. Remarkably, almost comically, 180 degrees away from the people most of us regard as credible. "good eatin'," Don

The way I look at it, Gary is a journalist and what he is writing sells. I am glad we are learning our way of eating from nutritionists and doctors.

I believe the issue is one of misunderstanding.
"High carbohydrate diet" to the low carb/paleo person automatically equals "High Junk Food diet." and vice versa.
I wonder if Gaubes realizes how ridiculous the insulin theory actually is, and how dumb it makes him look to people who have actually studied basic human physiology.
