Stephan Guyenet, PhD talks about the neurology of obesity

Stephan J Guyenet, PhD, was a recent speaker at a McDougall Advanced Study Weekend in Santa Rosa, CA. He specializes in the science of obesity, tying together research from several related fields to offer explanations and solutions for our global weight problem.  He received a B.S. in biochemistry at the University of Virginia, a Ph.D. in neurobiology at the University of Washington, and he recently completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Washington studying the neurobiology of obesity.  He is the author of the popular diet/health website Whole Health Source, and is frequently invited to speak on topics of obesity, metabolism, and diet history.
