The McDougall Research & Education Foundation is dedicated to informing our global citizens on topics related to the positive effects of dietary therapy on chronic disease and our planet.
The Foundation also educates medical residents and 3rd and 4th year medical students in good standing on how to implement and practice dietary therapy. Using scientific, evidence-based medicine, we work with students in developing and improving their abilities to effectively treat the common diseases affecting people all over the world.
Your donations help support this unique opportunity for future physicians to change the way medicine is practiced in the 21st century.
DonateYour charitable contributions funded a study on the dietary treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS) with the Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon, USA. The Neurology Department of the School of Medicine – led by Dennis Bourdette, MD and under the supervision of Vijayshree Yadav, MD – enrolled patients in the McDougall Program for intervention with a whole food, low-fat, starch-based diet. This study was a single-blind, controlled trial using the latest MRI technologies and neurologic evaluations.
We are able to do this through the generous donations from people like you.
The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization – Employer ID # 82-0573876. Information regarding the Foundation is a matter of public record. Please email us at office@drmcdougall.com for inquiries or more information on internship opportunities.
