Oils in Supplements

Postby larrygcain2 » Wed Jul 12, 2023 2:56 pm

I have reasonably severe arteriosclerosis and have adopted a strict Whole Foods Plant Based Diet with NO OIL after reading Dr. Esselstyn's book. I am currently on a statin (at least until I have "Happy" numbers) and as such, I would like to include a CoQ10 (Ubiquinol) supplement to my regimen. In shopping online, all of the liquid or gel-cap forms of CoQ10 contain Olive or Palm Oils.

Is the oil in these forms something I should be concerned with given the strict NO OIL policy of the Esselstyn diet?

You don’t have to worry about these small amounts
Very quickly your numbers will improve and you should be able to reduce the statin dose .
There may be no need for coq10 soon
