She does say she had an eating disorder for 50+ years, so she may need to feel really full in order to keep from eating in a disordered way. That was the case for me at first, too, even though I haven't struggled with disordered eating since the '90s. I eat less volume now than I did at first, but when I first started this diet, I ate a LOT, and I think part of the reason was to keep from feeling deprived.

Well if my being bad and stepping on scale before Friday says anything I'm going to have a very good loss this week. eating greens/veggies with my breakfast seems to be helping. Also seems to be helping with my swelling haven't been as bad the last couple of nights.

Ug. I'm having a morning. My fibro and back are acting up and I'm just not hungry at all and it's already 10am. Made myself get out of bed take dogs out and made myself stay up. my dog must know I'm hurting because he's insisting on laying behind me were my back is hurting the most. I find if I make myself move sometimes it feels better so hopefully it will today. Food has been on point for last week eating more veggies seems to be helping me with weight loss. I'm still eating just as many starches just added in more veggies.

I'm sorry you're having a flare-up, but good job on the food!

My hubby thinks my flare ups and my swelling issues are do to us painting in the house right now. I'm allergic to paint but that's not usually my reaction but he's right it does seem to be every time we paint. We have to finish project in Kitchen soon so I'll see if it gets worse again. If so we are talking about making me go to Mom's well he paints and lets house air out. For next projects. whole house needs work so there will be more projects.

I like this idea from Chef AJ of eating green leafies for breakfast! I read something recently online, someone who ate greens at every meal. Leafy greens! Can't go wrong...protein and calcium, packed with vitamins. Yasss!

I think I started eating to many to start with boy did I cramp up when I had to go to restroom. Then I totally quit doing it for a bit but back to it in slower fashion since it was helping with swelling. Ug. Figuring out my body isn't fun sometimes.

I've heard that a lot of greens can do that, especially for people just starting to change their diets. More fiber, I guess? Anyway, I'm intrigued by this "greens at every meal" thing...not DOING it currently, but intrigued.

Nice kitchen, Rosey! I hope you feel better soon. It's not easy to do all that physical work when you are so sore.
