Rooibos tea

Postby Zena » Tue Feb 20, 2024 1:16 pm

Hi Jeff and all,

I’ve recently heard about some potential issues with herbal teas containing Rooibos. I’ve noticed that as a few years ago my favorite brand now contains it when previously it didn’t. Would appreciate some factual info from Jeff whether there are any concerns to drinking it? I believe Jeff Nelson started reporting about it when his wife experienced some liver problems that they blamed the Rooibos tea for. Now everyone is getting riled up with it but I’m not sure whether it’s a valid concern or not. Thanks very much!
