CRON-o-Meter and Aminos

Postby vgpedlr » Wed Dec 07, 2016 1:47 pm

I've recently begun working with CRON-o-Meter to get a closer look at what I'm eating to see what I can learn. I set it up a awhile ago, I believe closely matching your guidelines for macros and micros. My question is regarding amino acids. Despite having more than adequate protein in total, various individual amino acids came up short. Curious, I opened up that detail and hid all non-essential aminos to get a simpler view. I then compared the default values (USDA I believe) to Dr. Rose's minimum and recommended as shown in The Starch Solution. There were a few discrepancies, with the default values in some cases quite higher than the Rose values. (BCAAs in particular)

Why the discrepancies?

Which values should I use?

Thanks
