Hi Kirsty. Just stopping by to see how you're doing. Hawaii?? I would like to go to Hawaii. Tony and I were planning to go there for our honeymoon but decided on Italy instead. We still have Hawaii on our bucket list though. I'd love to hear where you stay and what you did with food.

Hope all is well.

Hey! Thought you might know where I can find the answer to whether or not one can start producing insulin again if they lost the ability with Type 2 diabetes. Want to know for a friend of mine I'm encouraging to eat better.

I'm pretty sure it depends if the beta cells have been destroyed or still have some function. There is a test that a doctor can do to find out. Best resource I know of for all things diabetes is masteringdiabetes.org anyone can improve their insulin resistance and that makes a huge difference.

Type 2 usually doesn't destroy the insulin producing cells it simple makes the bodys cells more resistant to insulin. Fully treatable with a good diet.
