A meal in its simplist form.

Postby Shari_in_SD » Tue May 16, 2017 10:32 am

Hi,

Am I correct that if I ate a cup of rice, a cup of fat free coleslaw and 10 baby carrots that would be a meal?

Thanks,

Shari

Sure, but you may still be hungry. If so, just have more of each.

This video from the Vegetarian Society of Hawaii (Dr. McD is a member) may help you feel better about eating simple:

Confessions of a Low Class Vegan:

by Professor Karl Seff, PhD. He talks of all the very simple meals he makes, some only 1 ingredient.

And Dr. McD has frequently said you can live quite nicely on just sweet potatoes and broccoli for the rest of your life.

A meal can just be one single food. You don't have to have every vitamin and mineral covered at each meal.

One potato or two microwaved for 2-5 minutes will be great complete meal!
