Hello :) I've been following this lifestyle for a few years now, and just thought I would pass along my latest blood test results (33 year old Canadian, here).

*My apologies in advance: I'm not sure how to convert these numbers to American metrics for better context. However, I've included the ideal reference ranges that were provided with the results.

March 13, 2017: Blood test results (fasting):

Cholesterol/ HDL Ratio:
Reference Range: <4.12
Results: 3.0

Non HDL Cholesterol:
Optimal: <2.60 mmol/L
Results: 2.17 mmol/L

LDL Cholesterol:
Reference Range: <3.4 mmol/L
Results: 1.75 mmol/L

HDL Cholesterol:
Reference Range: >1.0 mmol/L
Results: 1.09 mmol/L

Total Cholesterol:
Reference Range: <5.2 mmol/L
Results: 3.26 mmol/L

Triglycerides:
Reference Range: <1.7 mmol/L
Results: 0.94 mmol/L

Glucose AC:
Reference Range: 3.6 - 6.0 mmol/L
Results: 4.8 mmol/L

Total Protein:
Reference Range: 64 - 83 g/L
Results: 75 g/L

Calcium:
Reference Range: 2.20 - 2.60 mmol/L
Results: 2.35 mmol/L

Electrolytes/ Sodium (Na):
Reference Range: 136 - 145 mmol/L
Results: 139 mmol/L

Electrolytes/ Potassium (K):
Reference Range: 3.4 - 5.0 mmol/L
Results: 4.1 mmol/L

Thyroid:
Reference Range: 0.35 - 4.30 mIU/L
Results: 2.11 mIU/L

eGFR (kidney function):
Reference Range: >=90 (Normal or High)
Results: >90 mL/min/1.73mE2

Urea (kidney function):
Reference Range: 2.5 - 9.2 mmol/L
Results: 5.7 mmol/L

Creatinine (kidney function):
Reference Range: 64 - 104 umol/L
Results: 71

Bilirubin Total (liver function):
Reference Range: 0.0 - 20.4 umol/L
Results: 9.1 umol/L

Bilirubin Direct (liver function):
Reference Range: 0.0 - 8.5 umol/L
Results: 4.2 umol/L

Albumin (liver function):
Reference Range: 35 - 50 g/L
Results: 44 g/L

ALP/ Alkaline Phosphatase (liver function):
Reference Range: 38 - 150 U/L
Results: 140 U/L

ALT/ Alanine Transaminase (liver function):
Reference Range: 0 - 54 U/L
Results: 31 U/L

AST/ Aspartate Transaminase (liver function):
Reference Range: 5 - 45 U/L

Vitamin B12:
Reference Range: 138 - 652 pmol/L
Results: 539 pmol/L

Excellent results, well done from a fellow Nova Scotian
I just started the WFPB on Jan. 01,2017. Had my bloodwork done on Feb. 23. Not quite as good as yours but a big change from last year. Look forward to the day when I can say I've been following this lifestyle for a few years now.

Nice!! Kinda weird that you're not deficient in protein and calcium, though. (Joking, in case that's not obvious. :lol: )

Thanks! I'm very happy with the test results. I've become progressively more strict against consuming junk/ oil over the years, and results like these help keep me motivated in staying healthy :)
