Lab results

Postby kirkj » Wed Feb 18, 2015 8:20 am

I have never had really high cholesterol. I think the highest was 190 when I was a butter and ice cream eating vegetarian. But there are lots of heart attacks and strokes in my family so I have always watched it and my weight.

Anyway, I had a physical yesterday on the 30th anniversary of my Mom's death from a heart attack. My total cholesterol = 147, HDL = 51, LDL=78. Blood pressure was 108/59 and resting pulse of 57. I'm a happy guy :)

I have been 99% compliant over the past couple years and probably 80-90% for a couple years before that.
