One thing I didn't mention in the article was the weight loss. I went from about 190 to 157 lbs, and I eat all I want just the WFPB food....

Ditto to what uncgirl said Tony. Great happy ending story!
On 7/8/2013, I decided to change my diet to a "mostly" WFPB diet. I have always been somewhat lean and muscular due to being a lifelong exerciser. Change in diet due to feeling crummy all the time despite a healthy outward appearance. Image

So inspiring! The question isn't IF a whole food, plant based will cure us, its whether or not we will DO it! Thank you for sharing!

Tony!

Now that's what I'm talking about!
Fantastic post!

You wrote: ...This is when major change started. After I stopped taking the pills, I noticed my energy level was through the roof. I started to need very little sleep, and I could perform an enormous amount of manual labor on our hillside with little to no fatigue.... After one year of giving up meat and dairy, I was in the best shape of my life... I honestly feel better than I did when I was 18 years old. I have more agility, flexibility, balance and endurance than I have ever had in my life and I am 46 years old. I would almost dare to say that I am athletic for the first time in my life...

If you think that's something, you just wait till you're in your 60's. If you keep this up, you will find you have even more energy and more capable than you are now! At least that's what happened to me. Since I became a WFPB starchivore in 1988, my energy, strength, feel-good and abilities have been on a perpetual steady accent. Every year, every decade has been better than the previous. I have no idea where the peak is.

Thanks again for sharing your wonderful experience!

Thank you for the story. It was quite inspiring. I am curious to know if your wife ever changed to a starch based diet.

Congratulations Tony! And thank you so much for posting your story. I sent it to my husband last night and he said, "That did it. This is the way I'm eating." And he really did start today.

Where is your wife's story?
