ET, I am so happy for you! I bought some size 8 pants last week--I have never worn an adult's size 8, because the last time I was this size was in the 70s, and this size was either a 12 or 14!! 10 was as samll as I ever got.

I can't wait for the pictures!

New pix posted in the first post. Not sure if the green tank top was a good choice, but too late now, LOL!

I like the green tank. You did buy some skinny jeans. I feel so short in them.

You look very fit AND stylish! I like the tank top :-D

I think I need to start baling hay and horseshoeing to drop my weight quicker...a very SLOW process for me.

No shoeing!! Just trimming. I don't believe in horse shoes. :)

I do think that finding something you LOVE to do makes it easier to exercise. It doesn't hurt that I get paid to do it, too, but if I didn't love it I wouldn't do it. Try to find something active that really makes you happy (i.e., not just something you tolerate). :)

Wow, I just saw the picture of you in the green tank and old jeans. You look so fit and trim. Do you mind sharing what you think keeps you on track with healthy eating and helped you persevere when you were tempted to overeat or eat unhealthy food? I don't have much to loose and I always slip up on the weekends. What do you feel is the biggest factor that contributed to your success.

Thanks,
Kris

Like Carrotlvr I wonder how you do it. I'm at 127 also but I'm only 5 ft 4 in and I would just like to get to 123. The only processed food I eat are whole grain pretzels with no oil. The rest is vegetables, potatoes and salad and just a littel bit of soy in very week decaf coffee. I;m also moderatley active.

simply stunning!!!

How were you size 16 at that weight (220)?

I was size 22 July 2010 at 220 pounds (now I'm down to 170 and size 16 and counting).

Thanks for being a visual reminder of the goal of this healthy food lifestyle.

The main thing that kept me on track and continues to keep me on track is that I feel SO GOOD now. I don't want to lose that!!!

I also really like the food. I love potatoes and find that no matter what I might THINK I want (i.e., "cravings"), if I eat a tater I'm good. So I make sure to have them around me all the time, LOL!

I make sure I have nothing in my house that is not MWL. Period. So I can eat as much of anything in my home that I want to. That helps a lot. I eat out seldom and try to stick to vegan sushi (my fave!), which has white rice and avocado but is blameless otherwise. If I do eat out someplace else, I do the best I can. I never eat anything that is not vegan (having been vegan for 22 years this isn't hard for me at all)--if I occasionally have to eat a little oil while eating out I do, but the key is to NOT EAT OUT very often. Eating out is fraught with danger b/c no matter where you eat you don't have control over the food. I try not to put myself in that position very often.

Hope that helps! :)
