Happy Friday Team!

Whatever the results, feel good about yourself and your efforts...not guilty over short-term slips. We're just human and working on breaking years-long bad habits....it's not an overnight turnaround but WE CAN DO IT.

I lost 3.4 lbs this week but had great help from being sick in bed the entire week with a head cold accompanied by a loss of taste and appetite. Hubby served up compliant food and I was hardly in a place to care much about anything. Next week I plan to lose the weight without being sick as a helper....not quite feeling better yet...very weak and cloudy headed.

Celebrate the small successes and we will together celebrate the big ones too as they come. Good weekend!

Hi Moonlight,

Well I tried to update my ticker this week and even with 'refresh' I could not get the update to appear correctly. :crybaby:

Good morning!

Down 3 lbs. Total of 10. Current weight 175.

Bought myself a little reward for hitting the 10lb mark...a pretty kitchen towel.

Have a great weekend.

I'm down 1 lb. this week. I've just been very firm with my inner snack craving self. I'm feeling successful again. :)
Congratulations, everyone! I hope you all have a successful week!

hi everybody I lost one lb .... I am actually feeling pretty good about it. I have found that I need a soup to come home to because I am ravenous when I get home. after that i bought huge bag of frozen veggies and can steam some up quick with some microwaved up rice, I have rice maker so there is always rice in fridge. I still have old habits to change but I feel like it is possible to actually do it :)

I lost 0.9# this week. It's not much, but it is in the right direction so I'm happy!

For some reason, I can't seem to get my tickerfactory ticker to display in the post - maybe next week.

Hola and Hello, last Friday was at 235.0, today at 228.4, so a net loss of 6.6 lbs :).
All I want to do is ride my bike and eat the McDougall way.
Feel so happy to be back in the 220's, next stop the 210's.
Thank you Dr. McDougall and everyone.

All the best to all,
Humberto

Not much excitement here. Weigh the same as last friday. I guess the good news is that I have not gained weight.

I lost 1# this week, weigh 165#, total 5# loss in 3 weeks. Did pretty good with the diet most of the week but that handful of salty tortilla chips I shared with my husband last night probably has me holding on to some extra water weight, not to mention the high calorie density from the fat. Glad the trend is still down.
