Thought I posted this morning but don't see it but I'm new at this so if I'm missing something please let me know. Weight this morning 140.8. Just started Mary's Mini this morning.

My husband and I have been struggling with gaining weight and eating poorly (chips, vegan ice cream, and the like). Trying to get a jump start to get back on track and stick to a program that will help us maintain our weight instead of the yo-yo we've been experiencing lately. Mostly due to added fats and processed foods. All vegan but not healthy. So here goes nuttin!

This is my first day going 100% on the McDougall plan. I have been incorporating more starch and plant-based meals since June and am down 11.6 lbs from my initial weight of 280 lbs just by cutting down on animal products. Finally feel I am ready to do this all the way. Weight today is 268.4

Up another .4 lbs. I know whats wrong and how to fix it. Insanely busy week and I seriously dont think I ate a single potato all week. :cry:

Great job everyone!! Welcome to all our new members. There is no "joining" really required. Just show up post your loss, you can post daily for help or accountability, or support. 188.4 lbs. Down 4.0 pounds in the last week. (The number is high because my weight popped up at the end of July. Two pounds is a more realistic number.)

I know this is a couple of days late but I did weigh in on the 7th. I lost 11 pounds over 8 weeks including 5 weeks out of the country on vacation. I managed though to put 3 # back on on my week back. Hence I am here!! I have 40 more to go and want to use the support to help meet that goal.

I was hoping for a little better, but I know it will be hard from here on. I'm going to just keep trying to stay focused on keeping it as clean as I can.

Good Morning and Happy Friday!

We missed the weigh in last week, we have some construction going on at our house and house guests and the routine has been thrown off a bit! Today, I am posting our change in weight since our last weigh in two weeks ago.
