Sorry, the weigh ins are Fridays correct?

Welcome and yes they are Fridays. But people also post on Saturdays before about 11am. I post about that time mostly.

Down 9 tenths this week

3/5/2015 213.8
3/12/2015 212.9 (-0.9)

I know, it's pitiful, but it's a lot more than I deserve with the movie popcorn on Sunday and my ceaseless refined carbohydrate jones every day.

I'm really going to try to be good this week. Only 20 pounds overweight and only about 30 from McDougall healthy. It's all starting to look possible for this year.

Congrats to all us losers.

Keep on truckin'.

No change in weight this week, but I'm improving in the pain department. I had informally decided milk is a trigger for my inflammation/pain, so I allowed other suspects back into my diet (like soy milk)....and the pain had started creeping up on me again. So, back to the minimum until I feel better then add things back in one at a time. I'm going to start exercising next week too. I signed up for a T/Th Zumba class at the YMCA. That should get the ball rolling.

I hope everyone saw more progress this week.

Down 1.4

I've just been too busy to eat beyond the basics. 1 cup of oatmeal with chia seeds and blueberries in the morning, a bowl of boiled potatoes on the countertop that I pick up and eat with hot sauce as I walk by and a cup of cooked kale have been about it. All of that only because I cooked it all in advance on Sunday. Very limited when it comes to nutrition. I'm going to try to cook ahead this Sunday too, but try to add a variety of vegetables. And I need to take the time to open a couple of cans of beans

Lost a lot more than usual this week 4.2 lbs. I'm sure that means next week I'll hold steady or maybe gain...I hope no gain.

I was overly optimistic and, in fact, am at the same weight today as I was last week, so put me down as a zero loss. :(

To coincide with a Facebook challenge I'm going to jump in here and weigh-in. Starting at 111, looking for 105.

down 2.2#

Great week. Sick of vegetables, but not hungry and actually losing again. Weekend out of town so modest expectations for next week. Of note yesterday was the only day in 2 weeks that I've had anything with even a trace of sugar in it. Last night I had to make myself drink a pot of tea between bowls of food. Appetite went berzerk. I hate to jump on the latest band wagon, but I'm thinking that while sugar might be innocuous, it's derangement of my appetite is not to be taken lightly.

down 1.5 lbs this week

exercised 5 days this week and ate 2/3 vegetables. that's more than i did the previous weeks and lost less this week. hopefully i've gained a little muscle cause it's far too early for my losses to be this low. :?

and when I see all this extra fat on my body and just feel disgusted, I remind myself the extra weight isn't me, it's just ON me - temporarily

After holding steady last week, down 2 pounds this week! I'm now facing 5 days of resort food over spring break...this should be challenging...

This morning I weighed in at 111.6 kg, that's 2 kg (4.4 lbs) lower than last week. I was mostly MWL, with a few transgressions with the normal McDougall allowed foods. Happy! :D And even happier because I sleep better, my mood is better, I do exercise most days and it's more fun to do the exercise! I've tried this before, but never been so compliant and as a result I'm feeling better than ever before with this WoE. It really gives me hope for the long term!!!

I haven't posted here for a while but I'm still on the losing trend - Yahoo! But I'm losing very slowly which is fine with me. Fighting bursitis in my knee so can't exercise like I would like so losing very slowly is ok. Put me down for lost 2 lbs. I can't remember how much I've posted that I've lost so far here so 2 lbs is a guess from the last time posting here. Since last June, I'm down a little over 13 lbs and my goal (maybe a sub goal) is to get into the 22s in BMI. Mid 22s would be good. 4.5 lbs to go to get to BMI 22.9. Then I'll evaluate and decide if getting down further is a new goal. I love the food I'm eating, love cooking, feel like I can eat a lot so losing weight for the first time is not such a struggle. I am thrilled! I feel like I've just about got my weight issue licked with this way of eating. I've tweaked my diet over the last 5 years eating WFPB and now lose the way I've always wanted - slow and steady - and not feeling deprived! I kind of have a meal pattern that works for me so I'm sticking to it! Wishing all of you better and better health!!
