Refrigerate starchy foods like Rice, Potatoes, Breads, and Pasta before consuming to reduce glycemic index?

Is there research data to back up Dr Mandell's proposition?

I have read about substantial reduction in glycemic index of about 30%!

Wow! As a numbers person, this is exactly what I needed to see. Thank you, Jeff!
This journey is one of constant small adjustments. Nothing is ever static, no matter how long you've been eating this way. If something isn't working, you tweak it and make small changes until it works better.
