Today’s video re: medical students performing unauthorized pelvic exams on patients that are under general anesthesia for unrelated surgery:
One aspect not covered: Namely, the ethical quagmire that must result when new pathology is then discovered. How could students possibly steer those patients to prompt gynecological treatment, without incriminating themselves? I somehow suspect few risk it.
