Oh NO!!! I luuuuuvvvvvv Alan Goldhamer, and am horrified if he made a super-public mistake like that!

Does it call it “reverse-it-all”, as Jeff Novick once hilariously christened it????

The diet promoted by Dr Fuhrman in ep 9 is very similar to the diet promoted by nutritionist Brenda Davis: salads and beans vegetable soups. The favored staple foods of Dr Fuhrman are beans, peas and lentils which are in his gbombs. The weimar institute was started by seventh day adventists and their newstart program seems like the usual seventh day adventist vegan diet with vitamin b12 supplement (seems to allow oil, sweeteners and salt).

Thanks, Kaye! I didn't get a chance to catch much of episode 9, and wanted to see it. I only got as far as Dr. Furhman's recommendation for soup and salad. Call me biased, but I think Dr. McDougall's recommendations to center the diet around starches with additional fruits and vegetables to be the most satiating while also being nutritionally sound. I'm interested in seeing the rest of the stories. I'm a sucker for a good success story!

The Chef AJ parts I remember were brief and in several episodes.
