Not me! :-D I as I said, I spent too much time on the nonsense, just clicking on the links that appear on the side when watching Chef AJ's and Gustavo Tolosa's videos. And I have no problem with cursing (try listening to Finns - our f-word is actually the c-word, and we use it five times per sentence like Durianrider), it's just that some of it seems curiously forced in these videos. The videos of Durianrider and Vegan Gains about the "worst of the fitness industry" have been a bit of an eye opener, I have to say. I didn't realize just how much and how bad BS is out there, and how much young people buy into it.

I can't help but think....all these 'feuding' YouTubers got together and said,
"You diss me, then I'll diss you"....for the sake of Clickbait to drive their view #s up.
All in the name of business.
They are slowly running out of material & ideas so they copy each other.
Nothing makes me move faster to Unsubscribe to a channel when I see them use these
predictable Clickbait strategies.

And all the feuding has a common demoniator...Durianrider/Freelee.
I bugged out of their channels waaaay back when they were kicked out of Woodstock Fruit Festival.
Today, Harley doesn't even promote Dr. McDougall or VegSource like he did in the past (I watched his Mt. Baldy climb suggested by another viewer).

And the bloggers have the same drama.
The whole Denise Minger bit w/ Dr. Garth Davis making a grand stand against her.
He has a 'Clickbait' feel to his posts, as well.
Who knows which side of the fence he'll be on 10 yrs from now.

I remain with my beautiful mainstay for information & inspiration...Dr. McDougall.

Jeff Nelson recently reviewed and recommended Durianrider's book on cycling on the VegSource Youtube channel, and Durianrider and Freelee were apparently both just at a VegSource event in California. Seems all friendly.

Can you imagine McDougall, Novick and Lisle hurling the F Bomb around? Nothing makes me de-elevate ones POV more when I hear that kind of repetitive crass usage of language. But it's a pretty trendy thing these days. I hope it goes away sometime soon if only because it's so distracting to me.
I forum here cause I have no where else to go.

i'm not condoning everything these people do for views. sometimes the profanity and the insults, not to mention the subject matter, are unpleasant.

but i must confess that i really love jeff nelson's video on overweight low carb gurus.

i really love vegan gains when he exposes the hypocrisy of people who eat animals.

there are some aspects of freelee and harley that i also enjoy. when i've had enough of them, i take a break from them.

overall i am grateful for anyone who expands the audience and provides impetus for more people to embrace veganism.

i also enjoy chef AJ, jeff novick, dr. mcdougall, sometimes dr. greger, dr garth davis, pam popper, emily of bite size vegan, mr. and mrs. vegan, erin janus, kerry mccarpet. etc. hope i did not offend anyone by leaving people out. there are so many of them out there these days.

More drama lately:

https://www.reddit.com/r/vegan/comments/4m85b4/durianrider_threatens_arrest_violence_defamation/
http://youtu.be/Juz6JG7DGK8

Meanwhile, Daily Fail just picked this one right up while ignoring the disclaimer at the beginning:

'Be nice to animals or I'll kill you': Knife-wielding vegan bodybuilder makes extraordinary threats against meat eaters in a series of bloodthirsty online rants

They actually REMOVED his disclaimer by uploading their own version WITHOUT that:

I hadn't taken a look at any of those channels since last commenting here three weeks ago, and in the mean time, all of those people seem to have lost a few more marbles. The way it's going, pretty soon people are going to run a mile if you mention "Youtube" and "vegan" in the same sentence.

Yes, we are all naïve to what social media really is nowadays - marketing. The Chewbacca mask lady who was pretty funny I have to admit, got all kinds of extra media exposure just for getting a gazillion views. Kohl's then showed up at her house and gave Chewie masks to all of her family members plus some money or a gift card I believe. All because she had a cute video on Facebook. So now I am dubious about clicking on FB videos because I believe it is all a publicity scam.

As for the vegan YouTube feuds: This stuff has been going on for years. Durianrder is especially provocative and had a feud with David Wolfe some years back. Raw food gurus used to trash talk on YT all the time back in the 00's. But apart from some profanity I see little difference between this and the trash talk between some WFPB folks and LC gurus, some of it is distasteful.

You're probably right, but it looks worse because Durianrider is accusing Eisel Mazard of sexual abuse and is implying times, places and names. You can actually get someone in trouble with the law that way, or possibly yourself, but I guess in this case it's all to vague. Vegan Gains, for his part, was already being visited by the police on occasion (it's in his videos) before this latest episode. Not saying that doing a parody like that is wrong, but he's left himself very exposed to this kind of manipulation (someone making it look like he's serious, which is yet another kind of clickbait).

Either Durianrider Goes to Jail, or I Do. (Australian Lawyers)

https://www.reddit.com/r/vegan/comments/4mt8qc/either_durianrider_goes_to_jail_or_i_do/

Eisel Mazard's videos, pretty interesting stuff if you ask me since he's so articulate and thoughtful about philosophy:

https://www.youtube.com/user/HeiJinZhengZhi/videos

Someone broke everything down pretty well IMHO:

http://youtu.be/CRoyvjm6-OE

A "fanboy" actually tried to kick Eisel Mazard's @$$ in Chiang Mai and he managed to take care of that situation philosophically as well:

http://youtu.be/ln_jYupzryk

Ryan Lum also took the high ground and chose to stay outta everything:

FYI - a quick summary of what's going on:

http://imgur.com/a/altR8

Here's the source but it's no longer accessible right now unless you're his friend on FB:

https://www.facebook.com/JakeEamesV/posts/191022024631183

Finally, damage control from Durianrider's girlfriend with the usual clickbait title:

My turn to ROAST Durianrider... - YouTube
http://youtu.be/Nu_hd2U7MZw

Maybe they still don't get it or something? They dodged the bullet last year when Kayla Itsines greeted them with a "SLAPP" in the face:

Kayla Itsines SLAPP Lawsuit? - YouTube
http://youtu.be/JlR19LWi80M

Now Durianrider might wanna have even more fun with defamation and bring it to the next level, it could potentially wreck havoc for Eisel Mazard since he ain't exactly associated with these guys and therefore he won't be able to get away with an apology:

Pope apologizes for “unspeakable crimes” of sexual abuse
http://blogs.reuters.com/faithworld/2010/09/18/pope-apologizes-for-unspeakable-crimes-of-sexual-abuse/

One in 50 priests is a paedophile: Pope Francis says child abuse is 'leprosy' infecting the Catholic Church

Catholic church too often sided with paedophile priests, archbishop admits
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/aug/26/church-sided-with-paedophile-priests-archbishop-admits

Pope's estimate on paedophile priests only half of real number, Australian Catholic Church body says
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-07-14/church-body-says-4pc-of-clergy-have-been-paedophiles/5596540

What’s the State of the Church’s Child Abuse Crisis?
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/article/whats-the-state-of-the-churchs-child-abuse-crisis/

If that fanboy in Chiang Mai were actually punching him in a crowded food court, both of them could hang out in jail for a little while and Durianrider might declare "victory" of some sort. Fortunately Eisel Mazard knew better and avoided violence after meeting that fanboy three times in a row.

It's pretty funny to watch that damage control video linked above since that's just downplaying the seriousness of such accusations. It would be even funnier when someone else is playing the same game with Durianrider and let's see how it goes.

Speaking of playing games, maybe that's a piece of cake for someone like this?

YouTube is an evil-genius idea because they are like a television station that no longer has to create any content for people to watch. Like FaceBook, they've outsourced that work to the users.

At least WildVegan still has a channel free of any drama!  Or subscribers.

Holy Cow, Vegan Gains really got some serious balls:

Of course it might not be such a happy ending if he weren't actually holding a camera in broad daylight.

BTW, I certainly hope he's staying in Canada since it's a very different story in the Wild Wild West:

I disagree. I found this guy to be obnoxious. The officer explains that he is not aware of the claim that a horse bit is cruelty to animals and this guy won't stop badgering him. Even if he is right about it, it is not a convincing attitude to be so confrontational with the officer who admits being unaware.

I wish he would have explained to the officer why the horse bit is cruelty to the horse. I, myself, am unaware of this issue but the only thing I got out of this guys argument was that he wouldn't listen to the cops reply and think about his reply in order to try to inform him.

vegan gains is lacking in restraint. i found him very entertaining for a while but now he reminds me of milo yiannopoulos, a professional gadfly.
