Physicians who support this WOE?

Postby Cherry Tomato » Tue Oct 18, 2011 2:59 pm

Does anyone know of a website where doctors who support this diet can be located? I like my doctor, but several years ago when she said my triglycerides were high, she said it was due to my vegetarian diet and recommended I start eating poultry. I'd rather go to someone who understands if that someone could be found.

Try

Physician Referrals

The American Holistic Medical Association offers a physician referral directory. Call 216-292-6644 or go to www.holisticmedicine.org.

Ha ha! This reminds me of what Dr. McDougall said about the "high protein" diets years ago: they are high in FAT!
