Today, Cancer Society Stops Urging Docs to Offer PSA Test

Postby John McDougall » Wed Mar 03, 2010 2:41 pm

Breaking News today, March 3, 2010.

It's about time.

The American Cancer Society is urging doctors to make clearer to men that the test used to screen for prostate cancer has limits and may lead to unnecessary treatments that do more harm than good.

I read this article earlier today, and I thought, "Thank you, Dr McDougall, for alerting us to these things before anyone else does." :)

Excellent news. The American Cancer Society of all people! What's next, the Heart Ass'n. saying their Step 2 diet ain't makin' it?

"Truth revolution" has a nice ring to it, maybe we should re-cast a new Liberty Bell, complete with the oak wood holding it up, from the original bell.
