George Guthrie, MD says not to worry about salting your food.

George Guthrie, MD, was a recent speaker at the McDougall Advanced Study Weekend in Santa Rosa, CA. He teaches Lifestyle Medicine to the residents at the Florida Hospital Family Medicine residency in Orlando, Florida. He is a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), has an MPH in Public Health Nutrition, and is president-elect of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. George and his wife Dena, a nurse practitioner, have worked together on multiple community and clinical lifestyle medicine focused interventions including the CHIP program, community plant based cooking schools and lifestyle medicine focused lecture series. George spent most of 5 years as medical and program director of The Lifestyle Center of America (Oklahoma) with an intensive live-in lifestyle intervention program before moving to his present position. In his present post he has been part of the development and training of the CREATION Health Program, which Florida Hospital has created to impact the lifestyle of their employees and communities.
