Dandelion Greens

Postby olindaspider » Fri Apr 18, 2014 11:40 pm

One of our favorite things about getting a weekly CSA box is we end up with items we would have never bought ourselves. This week's surprise was dandelion greens.

Anyone have experience preparing them or favorite ways of eating them?

Thanks,

Early season like this they are delicious, get more bitter as time passes. I just rip them out of neighbors NOT POISONED lawn and toss into salad or mix in stir fry or steamed mix of other veg. Nothing fancy, just another green veg that is very good for you
