Hi everybody. I am interested in buying either a gas pressure cooker or slow cooker but unsure what size to buy. I would like to cook 1.5kg unsoaked beans (I will soak them first of course, which will make them around 4kg?). I was curious what size pressure cooker I need please? I've noticed there are some seriously big pressure cookers out there (17kg). Does anyone here have experience with using a really big pressure cooker to cook big batches to store in their freezer? I am thinking I like the advantage of cooking all my beans (one type) in one pot for the week versus 3 goes in a smaller pressure cooker. I am living in Hungary and here is a website that I am looking at buying from below

Anybody got experience with pressure cookers like this one?

Any advice/tips are welcome
P.S. I looked into slow cookers but found you need to boil some beans (red kidney and fava only? Are the rest ok?) for 10mins first before putting them in? The biggest slow cooker I could find was 6.5litres.

Would that be big enough to cook 1.5kg unsoaked beans in? (if not what is max size please I can fit in unsoaked?) I suppose I could go with out kidney beans more than the rest. I really like chickpeas, blackbeans. Not to keen on pintos though but may be I just need to neuroadapt. I can also get white beans, borlotti and some big other types.
We already have a 6l pressure cooker so i like the idea of getting a slow cooker but it depends how much I can cook in it.
