this looks SO GOOD. How much processed in there? but I may make this for a feast day...like Christmas? because I'm totally making Bob's Cabernet roasted vegs to take for Thanksgiving  a LOT of em.

This really doesn't look like that much processed...hmmm...:unibrow: may have to make it sooner than Xmas. :D

Buns, this dish is the bomb! OMG it was delicious. Hubby and I ate a mountain of it last Thursday night. I had the leftovers for lunch on Friday.

If you use rice or taters instead of pasta, the only thing processed is the nutritional yeast, and that's not a big deal IMHO. I eat a lot of nutritional yeast and I've lost weight like a house afire, LOL.

I was really surprised at the cals though, seemed alot to me.

Sorry I just realized I didnt tell you what that was for. It was for the nutritional yeast :duh:

I always thought it was rich in B12...huh. And i LOVE the stuff. I sprinkle it on lots of stuff. Ground up together with slivered almonds, it makes a really good "parmesan not cheese"

Made this again tonight - it looks like it may become a weekly staple.

Veggies used: yellow squash, peas, artichoke hearts, portabello mushroom, spinach. Mixed the sauce with the veggies and served on top of farfalle.

So, so good!

Hubby could not get over how rich it tastes.

Okay, this is officially DA BOMB! Absolutely scrumptious! My proportion of veggies to sauce made it a little drier than I see in the picture, so I'll fix that next time. Saucier would be perfection itself. But the flavor! oh MY! ...why don't we have a munching or drooling icon? ... I used garbanzos instead of black beans, and didn't put corn in it. Onion, broccoli, kale, and garbanzo beans. Forgot to sprinkle garlic powder and pepper. BUT THAT'S OKAY! It tastes SO good...

yum!

After hearing everyone rave about this I broke down and made it. It was delicious and quick and easy. My family loved it. It will be a regular on our dinner plates!

I did make one slight modification. I stirred the cornstarch in dry with the nutritional yeast and then added the water a little at a time. This kept it from being lumpy.

I made this tonight with spaghetti and a bag of frozen veggies and white beans and it was GOOD! Thanks for the recipe. It's amazing to think about, because without the nutritional yeast, for my family, veggies and spaghetti sauce over spaghetti would be a tad spartan but with the yeast it was yummy!

I made it without putting the thickener in it, and it turned out great. there were garbanzo beans in it, which mingled with the juicier sauce to perfection.

I'll be making it again, prolly tonight :D good stuff, Maynard!

I made the sauce and put it over steamed potatoes with cabbage and mushrooms. It was delicious on this as well.

Poor Hubby!! That will teach him.

It is so easy to make, maybe you can make more today or tomorrow & he can have some.

I am making it tonight. I also bought a Butternut squash & am going to make the Black Bean Butternut Chili. It sounds super good, too.
