Thursday, Friday and Saturday I didn't journal as I was running in and out but stayed on plan...EXCEPT for Saturday when I ate a big salad at Claim Jumper with a citrus vinergarette dressing...not on plan but we had fun and I didn't eat what I normally would at that place LOL!!!
Today:
Breakfast3/4 cup oatmeal with 1/3 peach, 1/3 apple and 1/4 banana

Banana CrispBy Deanna Corey to fit Dr. McDougall MWL standard diet
Makes 4 servings
1) 4 ripe bananas, sliced and spread into a square 9”x9”pyrex
2) ¾ cup organic whole rolled oats
3) 2Tb Real Maple Syrup Grade B
4) ½ TB Olive oil
Mix oats, Maple Syrup and Olive Oil in a small bowl until oats are well coated. Spread evenly on top of sliced bananas. Broil in 500* oven until topping is evenly golden-browned. Serve hot in bowls. Makes 4 servings

Fall Sweet Potatoe Savory SoupBy Deanna Corey to fit Dr. Mc Dougall’s Diet Guidelines
1) 5 small –med red potatoes not peeled
2) 2-3 large apples, peeled
3) 1 large Maui Onion
4) 4 large carrots peeled
5) 4-5 large sweet potatoes or Yams, peeled
6) 8 cups organic veggie broth (TRADER JOES) or Organic low/no sodium Chicken broth
7) 2 cups water
Dash Cayenne Pepper
9) Cinnamon
10) Nutmeg
11) Raw sea Salt
12) Montreal Steak Seasoning
13) 3 cups Rice Milk or Almond Milk…either homemade or purchased. I used homemade Rice Milk
**Numbers 8-12 to taste
Dice all ingredients to small cubes, Dump in large stock pot and cook in all liquids EXCEPT Rice Milk. Cook on medium heat a few hours until everything is tender. Remove from stovetop and use Hand Wand Emulsion Blender to Puree and slowly add in the Rice Milk. Continue to blend until mixture is smooth and creamy… serve hot and leftovers can be served cold too! REALLY YUMMY!!!!!
I feel very full and at the end of the day have had no cravings!!! I LOVED the soup I made and so did the family. I need to remember to be EASY with the Cayenne pepper...gave it a little TOOO much punch...but it was still really yummy!!!
