Dr. McDougall,

After years of following your WOE and reading your books, I will finally get to see you speak live at the Healthy You Network Symposium in Tuscon; can't wait! :)

Cheers,

Dr. McDougall,

I just noticed that for the Healthy You Network Symposium, you have the dates listed as May 3-5, but the official webpage has them listed as May 4-5. Is there anything going on that Friday/night, the 3rd?

Thank you,
Scott Beavers

Since it doesn't look like you'll be coming to Michigan anytime soon (come on - its home and if anybody needs you it's the morbidly obese of Southeastern Michigan) I'm going to try for the Chicago FOK immersion. Always wanted to take the train from Port Huron to Chicago. :D

Hey Katydid! I got to agree with you, we need Dr McDougall in his hometown, Detroit!

I too am thinking of going to the Chicago FOK immersion. Its probably the cheapest way I'll ever get to see those in the nutrition world that I respect the most...Dr McD, Jeff, Dr Campbell and Dr Lisle and I would hope Dr Essy will be there as well, though he's not listed as a speaker this time.

It never occurred to me to take a train, but that might be a fun thing to do with the family :)

Amen! The heaviest parts of the country need some plant-based TLC. ;-)

I would like to see something on the East coast...maybe there are such events but not to my knowledge.

The SE?? Come on, we need him more in Texas! This is cattle country. (I never know whether that term refers to livestock or our morbidly obese populace.)

Maybe I'll see you there, Linda. It's an 8 hr drive for me, but I really want to hear him too. Lynn

It's only about a four hour drive for me so I can do it. Plus a stay at daughter's in McMinnville for a really fun weekend.

Lynn, we'll need to touch bases closer to the date and set up someplace to meet!
