Almond Chile Sauce with Pasta

  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp chopped pitted dates
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 Serrano pepper, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1/3 cup coconut water
  • steamed broccoli
  • freshly chopped cilantro
  • cooked soba noodles (or any cooked pasta)


In a blender or food processor, puree almond butter, lemon juice, dates, ginger, garlic, pepper and water until smooth. Transfer dressing to a large bowl, add steamed broccoli and cilantro and toss well. Serve over soba noodles or other cooked pasta.
