Curry Tomato Sauce

  • 1 bunch scallions, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 28 ounce can crushed tomatoes
  • 1/4 tsp curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric


Place a small amount of water in a saucepan. Add the scallions, garlic, and ginger. Cook and stir over medium heat for a few minutes. Add the remaining ingredients. Mix well. Cook for another 6 to 7 minutes to allow the flavors to blend. Serve hot.
