Alopecia

I have been WFPB for two years and very recently I found out that I have alopecia. My doctor advised me that I should make sure I’m cutting out the inflammatory foods. I cut out animal products, oil, added sugar, salt, refined carbs, spicy foods, red spices, soy, other plant based fats, Gluten, and nightshade vegetables.

Is there any truth to nightshade vegetables being inflammatory? I struggle with cutting out potatoes, eggplants, peppers, and tomatoes.

Is there any other advice you can give me for getting rid of my alopecia?

Thank you!

Alopecia is a fancy word for pattern baldness.

In most cases it is genetic.

If your physician thinks you have the rare autoimmune version, it seems there are meds you can take.
