How long to Normalize Blood Sugars

I'm curious about Dr. McDougall's treatment for type 2 diabetics. He says that he generally stops all diabetic pills and insulin on the first day of his program. But he doesn't say how long it takes for his patients' blood sugars to normalize. Is this accomplished in the 10 live in program, or does it take longer than that?

Depends on the patient, their medical history, condition, and their adherence to the program. Some will normalize and normalized or not (he accepts a wider range to be medication free), can stay medication free when they leave but they must adhere to the program or their numbers worsen.
