Symbas Journal.....2020 challenge.
This is my first time signing into a challenge., and its quite frightening, really, but it will keep me motivated..I have been struggling to start McDougalling again
I am 68, have gained a lot of weight back, since 2012.
Preparing for knee replacement, in the summer, I want to lose what I gained .
I will weigh myself tomorrow,...
I went shopping today, in preparation for tomorrow's start date.

January 3: Starting Wt: 178, Goal is 130.

I was shocked standing on the scale! This is the most I have weighed in years...no wonder my body hurts!
I just kept eating, fooling myself that I would " start on Monday". How many Mondays have come and gone....I started and the would forget about by noon, there was no sense of comlmitment. Food addiction is no different than any other.The brain tricks us. Just for today.

January 13/2020
Brkfast : 1 cup frozen raspberries/1 1/2 cups steel cut oats, 12 oz H20 830 am
Lunch: 2 cups salad, 1 1/2 cups of Brussels sprouts with mustard /maple sauce.
2 cups curried broccoli rice salad. 12 oz.water. 230
Supper: 2 cups salad ,3 cups unfried rice with vegie mix. 8 oz. Water.7 pm

January 18
Well, my food journaling went sideways, this past week.

Life got in the way, our chimney collapsed, we have no working furnace, 3 feet of snow on roof.

Journaling and life crises are not compatible.!
Press on regardless...
Suffice to say, I have maintained MWL, except not eating enough .
