Hi Jaap! What made you decide to do a fast? Be careful with the exercise, I think you’re suppose to rest while fasting. I don’t want you to pass out.

Hi Lyndzie,

I tried to see how far I can expand my perceived boundaries. In my test, fasting & excersize went smoothly.

Swimmimg slow 75 (5 x 15)
Crosstrainer 120, no pause, talking about breaking boundaries! But it was time to stop, since I was feeling my spleen a bit.
Walking 15

Omad breakfast meal after 36 hour fast:
Apple
Purple carrot raw
Lentils, veggies, chilli sauce (2 x 500 grams)
I felt stuffed. I need to spread more.

Weird day. Lots of exercise on empty stomach. Then a big Omad meal afterwards.

Walking 30
Walking with heavy bag 30
Swimming slow 90
Inclined treadmill, 15%, 1.9 km/h, 90

4 hours is a new record. No ammonia swet flavor. So pretty awesome, totally pushing boundaries by experiment.

Jeff Novick told me to be "brutally honest", so be warned.

Apple, kiwi, banana, carrot
Piece of apple pie
2 whole weat slices of bread+cheese+mustard
Spareribs 450 gram
Tea or water, as every day

Hi JAAP,

My turn. I'm going to be totally honest with you. You are exercising way too much, not eating enough and not following the McDougall program. You WILL fail if you continue this way and furthermore you will put on more weight than you lost. There is hardly anything you are doing that is on the McDougall program. I plead with you to review all the stickied threads at the top of the How To Begin subforum, understand the principles and then apply. The way to good health is not a contest nor is it a race. And there are no shortcuts. Again, you are on the road to guaranteed failure due to over-exertion, starvation and not eating the McDougall way, which is at least 50% of your plate filled with starches and the rest with veggies and fruits. You advertise in your signature that this thread is for your maximum weight loss journey but you are even further away from following those guidelines, which are stickied at the top of that subforum.

I want you to succeed and be healthy and that is why I'm being blunt. Please please please reconsider what you are doing and change to follow the principles that are outlined here, including exercise, in order to see real, lasting and healthy results. This program works, but you have to learn, apply, be consistent and stay on it.

Sincerely,
Scott

Hello Ltldogg / Scott,

Thank you for your message. It's totally fine to be blunt. It's always nice when people take the time to give feedback. Very much appreciated. I will send a PM.

Kind regards,

2019-3-1, day 14

I got a lot of critique on my doing from a close friend. That's fine. I listen and am willing to experiment with other views. However my friend never asked: how are you doing? She could only consider horror scenarios. Well, I am doing really fine. Feeling much fitter and my aches and pains have diminished in a mere 2 weeks. I am happy and hopeful. Energy is high, I feel health returning. How can that be a bad thing?
