The taro and radish cakes are frozen products I picked up in my local Chinese grocery store. They are really good, but a little too refined to eat all the time. I've been thinking of making some myself, though. If I do, I'll post it. There's no fat in a serving of them, and the print is tiny on the package, so I didn't realize until I went right now and magnified the print that there's a little bit of oil in the ingredients way down the list. :-( I won't buy them again, but I'm going to finish the ones that are in the freezer because they're SO GOOD.

L: kohlrabi; lentil/rice loaf; corn chili (a filling my partner made for stuffed peppers the other night)
D: soup; taro and radish cakes
S: veggies & hummus, soup

Actual:

S: soup, kohlrabi :thumbsup:

I was sooooooooo tempted to eat junk today, partly because I am in a lot of pain from a backache, so I feel like comforting myself. I didn't do it, though. I want to get well more than I want to feel temporarily comforted.

Tomorrow's plan:

Overslept today, so I winged it and did really well.

S: Lentil veggie soup

Actual:
B: Roasted potatoes (a little oil) :thumbsdown:
L: :thumbsup: (plus fruit salad)
D: taro and radish cakes :thumbsup:
S: veggie soup, one bite of kimchi slaw, frozen strawberries :thumbsup:

Feeling hungry today. Eating what feels like a lot, but not stuffing myself or anything. (Later: turns out I ate fewer calories than usual. Guess it just seemed like a lot. Might be because I started all my meals with veggies today.)

Today's plan:
B: Sweet potatoes and veggies
L: Sweet potatoes and veggies
D: Sweet potatoes and veggies
S: Sweet potatoes and veggies

Actual:
B: :thumbsup: (the veggies were Chef AJ's balsamic dijon brussels sprouts)

S: 1/2 pear :thumbsup:
L: ratatouille marinara over pasta :thumbsup:
S: pear (no thumbsup -- 3rd serving of fruit)

S: woven wheats were spoiled, and the Kind bars tasted terrible, so I ate some off-plan popcorn

Actual:
B: While prepping fat-free hummus and cut-up veggies for a work party, I ate a pear and some cut-up veggies (bell pepper, carrot, pickled daikon) :thumbsup:
L: :thumbsup: (along with some curried chickpeas)
S: veggies and fat-free hummus :thumbsup: (also had a hard candy for a sore-ish throat, but it's not a trigger food for me, and I had one small piece, so I am not taking away my thumbsup for it)
D: :thumbsup:
S: Engine 2 burger w/ketchup; grapes :thumbsup:

Thanks for posting pics.

What did you put over the Brussels sprouts in the pic you took of them? Just wondering. I could have Brussel sprouts every day.

It's Chef AJ's recipe -- 1/4 cup each of balsamic reduction and salt-free mustard is her recipe, but I don't avoid salt, so my mustard was regular dijon.

B: Tomato soup and okra
L: bean soft tacos and veggies
D: Veggie soup with potatoes in it
S: Baked potato with some kind of fat-free sauce on it (lots of choices right now), and some veggies
