We took the RV up to Idaho and spent the weekend kicked back in our anti-gravity "camp chairs" and also walked all over the place, and also ate treat foods and also visited with friends. I'm calling Sat and Sun Feast Days, because 1) human beings have special treat foods when they're with old friends (since food was offered) and 2) half a 7-up? an omelet, no cheese, packed with grilled onions and peppers, and mushrooms? maybe half a dozen small chocolate chip cookies? Though I did choose some off plan foods, I was very much in control and didn't go nuts. I sort of did as planned, to be honest.

Took my honey out to dinner last night, and he wanted Red Lobster, so we went to Red Lobster, where I was able to order three sides, all compliant :-) and I also ate some of their biscuits  and now that I think about it, I also had a Caesar side salad...with dressing  (and it wasn't that good)

I was impressed with the deliciousness of the foods I chose, especially the baked potato. It had been roasted and had a lovely crisp section of peel that was SCRUMPTIOUS. If I had it to do over again, I'd skip the salad, and restrict myself to one biscuit. Or none. To be quite honest, they weren't all that great, but I was hungry and they brought the biscuits out...etc.

Stepped on the scale this morning, and I've lost four pounds since the last time I weighed, which was many weeks ago. It shows as eight pounds on My Fitness Pal because I rounded up when I entered my starting weight a month ago. Didn't weigh myself for that. whatevs.

Good weekend. I had a little bit of extra dark chocolate on both Saturday and Sunday. Went to a movie and out to lunch with my youngest...Sizzler salad bar, which I kept compliant EXCEPT I did have a spoonful of something with feta cheese in it, and a spoonful of a Thai salad that was SO YUMMY but had oil in the dressing.

There was no overeating, and no bingeing on junk. This is a triumph, considering how my weekends had been going.

so, I never EVER gave it a single smidgen of thought, but alcohol has calories! and I found out, it has 7 cal per gram, as opposed to 4 per gram for regular carbs. I must've taken in 500 calories in booze last night. Two tall "Amazeballs" (Fireball, Amaretto, and 7-Up) which is a yummy drink, but I made em strong cuz I wanted to get drunk which I did. :|

But I'll definitely think twice before just tossing back a shot.
