L: Butternut and white bean soup
S: buttered popcorn NOT ON PLAN
D: mushroom omelet; eggs NOT ON PLAN tossed green salad
S: three grocery store cookies NOT ON PLAN
EXTRA DARK CHOCOLATE BETWEEN MEALS
a rather greedy day. The omelet had eggs; The popcorn was something I wanted for many days and finally just made some, the cookies were kind of out of controllish. I tasted one while preparing dinner, and then just ate some more. NOT my plan

Jan 16
woke up at 1 a.m. with diarrhea and nausea. Still feeling puny 12 hours later. there is a stomach bug going around.
B: banana
L: Mediterranean rice blend; apple
D: butternut and white bean soup

Jan 17
B: oatmeal with berries
L: Thai Curried Rice (my current fave from The Starch solution)
D: butternut and white bean soup
No more stomach symptoms. I ate candied ginger for the nausea and everything calmed down

Jan 18
B: ww toast w/peanut butter and sliced banana
L: Homemade hummus and pepper strips;
D: Thai curried rice

Jan 19
B: oatmeal with berries
L: Thai curried rice w/poached egg NOT ON PLAN
D: Mexican rice blend w/half an avocado; two pieces toast

Jan 20
B: oatmeal w/banana, berries; half an apple
L: mac n not cheese; green salad; ww toast w/raspberry jam
D:miso vegetable soup with rice noodles

Jan 21
B: mac n not cheese; half a grapefruit
S: dark chocolate; fresh baked artisan bread
L: Miso noodle veggie soup
S: more fresh baked artisan bread with butter NOT ON PLAN
D: Chinese ordered in (veggie Moo Shu) I'm sure, this was made with oil NOT ON PLAN

I thought I was going to be having lots of leftover mac n not cheese, but the high cashew content is making my gut unhappy. IBS is still an issue for me with consumption of nuts SO...I will make a couple of lunches with the rest of the mac n not cheese, and freeze them for another day in a week or so. It's better that way, anyway. Mac N Not Cheese is DELICIOUS...one of my all time favorite recipes...but it is calorie dense, being made with pasta and a cashew cream sauce. More of a feast food, I'd say.
EXTRA DARK CHOCOLATE BETWEEN MEALS

I'm developing the habit of chewing all my bites and savoring the flavors, eating slowly, and stopping when full.

DARK CHOCOLATE OFF AND ON THROUGHOUT THE DAY

*coffee then. Lately I've been drinking a chai black tea, one mug every day. Green tea or water otherwise, but a black chai tea is my first morning drink. AND...the other day I didn't. Annnnd...I got a headache. This morning, the same. Headache until I had something with caffeine, which was coffee at work. So an adjustment is warranted...no more black tea, as it seems to have restarted a caffeine addiction. Green tea never did this. I could have it or not, no problem. But the black tea, if I don't have it, I feel it. Okay then...buh byeeee, black tea. Maybe I'll find a green chai tea, because I love those flavors.

B: apple, banana, granola bars, extra dark chocolate
L: Mac n Not Cheese (engine 2 recipe)
D: Mac n cheese using a cauliflower not cheese sauce; two sugar cookies OFF PLAN

Got the super munchies today and ate some things I shouldn't, but I did NOT overdo. Two cookies, and maybe a serving of chips. From an open MASSIVE bag of potato chips, and no one there to see me. Yeah, I did good, because I am fully capable of consuming and entire bag of chips all by myself. I did good, eating only about a 20 individual chips.

That said, now I KNOW I am eating off plan pretty often. For some reason, I am finding it extremely difficult to make myself comply fully with the "no added fat" part of this eating plan. And eggs. :? Need to figure it out...
