You might want to read the current Consumers Reports. Breville is ranked at the bottom for repairs etc. I don’t have my magazine handy so I can’t check exactly what they said except it was least reliable.
The Ninja blade fits easily in my dishwasher so I have no problem washing it.
Actually, I did read Consumer Reports. We have a subscription. I noticed that they rated Ninja as a "best buy". It's not the first time I have disagreed with Consumer Reports' recommendations. They also seem to love the Kitchen Aid mixer. I do not.
