Fiber in Dr. McDougall Bean Soups and Bananas

Postby garbus » Tue Jan 08, 2019 6:13 pm

I see that the Dr. McDougall Black Bean and Lime soup, which I have, has over 50% the daily value in fiber. Also, a banana has stuff that acts like fiber, as far as I know. So, is it safe to eat 2 Dr. McDougall Black Bean and Lime Soups in one day, along with a banana. Or is that too much fiber? 2 soups are already over 100% the daily value in fiber.

Fiber is one thing that you can’t really get too much of. If you are not used to eating fiber your body may need a little adjustment time, and you may be a little gassy. Fiber is what gives you that feeling of satiety and forms the bulk of your stools. Think of the RDA of fiber as the minimum. Enjoy the soup!
