I've never been a crab person, but I made the crab cakes (2nd link) recently. The only substitution I made was sweet onion for red onion. If you make these, my suggestion would be to mind the lemon and nori. Add smaller amounts and taste as you go. I think I had too much of both, but otherwise they were pretty good. The mixture is tasty even before you shape, bread and bake, so you could use it it other ways, like a wrap or sandwich filling.
